Business Development Manager - Tech, Media, IP & Competition (12 Month FTC)

This role is paying circa £70,000 - £82,000 and will be based out of our clients London office on a hybrid basis (50/50).

The Role

As part of a close-knit team of four BD professionals, you’ll support and lead initiatives for an integrated group of IP, Technology, and Media lawyers working with some of the world’s most iconic brands. This is a varied and strategic role where you’ll:

• Partner with lawyers to target new clients and deepen existing relationships.
• Stay informed on legal and market developments to provide insightful BD guidance.
• Create compelling pitch materials and client presentations.
• Organise and host events, webinars, and networking opportunities.
• Support marketing campaigns and legal directory submissions.
• Contribute to business planning and budget management.
• Maintain BD systems and CRM tools to streamline operations.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• Significant BD and/or marketing experience within a law firm.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with a flair for presenting complex ideas clearly.
