Be-Resourcing is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Private Client Tax Manager to join our client’s growing team, with flexibility to be based in any of their offices in Scotland.
This is a fantastic role for a personal tax professional with experience in international tax matters who’s ready to take on a leadership position. You’ll play a key role in managing a diverse client portfolio, supporting compliance processes and delivering high-quality advisory services to individuals with complex tax affairs. You’ll be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking team that values initiative, development and client care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of private clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of personal tax compliance services
- Support international tax compliance and advisory work, particularly for clients with cross-border interests
- Review and oversee the work of junior team members, providing coaching and support
- Deliver ad-hoc tax advice to clients and identify opportunities for tax planning
- Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and proactive service
- Contribute to internal process improvements and operational efficiency
- Support business development efforts and contribute to the growth of the wider team
- Oversee fee management and ensure high standards of client service are maintained
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a private client tax role, ideally with exposure to international tax matters
- Strong understanding of personal tax compliance and advisory work
- Experience managing or mentoring junior staff
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
- A proactive and independent mindset with strong attention to detail
- Qualified or Qualified by Experience
