Head of Finance Operations & Procurement

Be-Resourcing is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Head of Finance Operations & Procurement to join our Financial Services client based in Edinburgh. This strategic role encompasses overseeing and managing a comprehensive range of operational finance activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll execution, and sourcing of third-party vendors. You will lead a highly skilled team of approximately 20 FTE across various UK locations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and driving operational excellence. Your contributions will significantly impact the company's strategic objectives by optimising vendor relationships and enhancing internal financial processes.

The Head of Finance Operations and Procurement will interact with subsidiary company management, boards, and governance bodies, coordinating closely with Treasury, Capital Management, and the Group Company Secretary. 

The individual holding this role has been designated as a Certified Person for the purposes of the FCA’s Certification Regime.

Our client, a leading UK Financial Services firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Prudential & Financial Risk Manager to join their Capital and Liquidity team within the Group Finance Function in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead role in managing prudential and financial risks while ensuring compliance with FCA/PRA regulations. The successful candidate will support the overall risk management framework, actively contributing to cash management and liquidity oversight, capital and liquidity projections, stakeholder engagement, and risk reporting.
