Be‑Resourcing is supporting a professional services organisation in recruiting a Unified Communications Officer to join their on‑site technical support team. The role is entirely office‑based and focuses on ensuring reliable user support, smooth communication systems, and consistent AV operations across the workplace.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day technical support for meetings, events, and hybrid sessions.
• Carry out routine equipment checks, preventative maintenance, and basic system upkeep.
• Troubleshoot issues across communication platforms, devices, and AV setups.
• Assist with testing, rollout, and adoption of new communication or collaboration tools.
• Contribute to project work, which may occasionally require work outside standard hours.
• Set up, operate, and guide colleagues on AV equipment and room technology.
• Manage stock levels, equipment storage, and ordering processes when needed.
• Handle support tickets and ensure requests are resolved within agreed timeframes.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience supporting Windows environments and general hardware.
• A foundational understanding of collaboration tools, meeting room systems, networking basics, or voice protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
• Experience using service desk or ticketing tools.
• At least a year of experience working with AV or meeting‑room technology.
• Confident communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
• A proactive team player who performs well under pressure.
• Comfortable with physical aspects of the role (e.g., lifting equipment, moving between rooms, manual handling).
