Events Admin Assistant

This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, based primarily in the company’s Glasgow office just outside the city centre. Following successful completion of the probation period, you'll also benefit from the ability to work from home one day per week.

 

About the Role

As Events Admin Assistant, you’ll play a key role in coordinating and managing client reservations for high-profile events and corporate travel. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where precision, communication, and client satisfaction are at the heart of everything you do.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming bookings via email and phone within agreed SLAs
  • Prioritise and manage multiple reservations efficiently
  • Take ownership of complex bookings and oversee them to completion
  • Handle job updates, client and supplier queries, and special requests
  • Advise clients on schedule feasibility and resolve discrepancies
  • Source and assign appropriate suppliers for each reservation
  • Provide detailed handovers to night/weekend teams
  • Maintain accurate records and feedback in internal systems
  • Collaborate with Sales and Pricing teams to ensure smooth event execution

 

Skills & Experience

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Experience in events, travel, or logistics is advantageous
  • Fluency in a second language is a plus
