Be-Resourcing is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Head of Finance Operations & Procurement to join our Financial Services client based in Edinburgh. This strategic role encompasses overseeing and managing a comprehensive range of operational finance activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll execution, and sourcing of third-party vendors. You will lead a highly skilled team of approximately 20 FTE across various UK locations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and driving operational excellence. Your contributions will significantly impact the company's strategic objectives by optimising vendor relationships and enhancing internal financial processes.

The Head of Finance Operations and Procurement will interact with subsidiary company management, boards, and governance bodies, coordinating closely with Treasury, Capital Management, and the Group Company Secretary. 

The individual holding this role has been designated as a Certified Person for the purposes of the FCA’s Certification Regime.

Key Accountabilities:

• Oversee accounts receivable and billing processes, ensuring timely collections and effective stakeholder relationship management.
• Lead accounts payable processes and procurement controls while ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
• Manage payroll execution, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory standards.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring adherence to FCA and PRA regulations.
• Maintain integrity within finance systems and ensure effective month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Drive vendor relationship management and sourcing strategies for cost-effective procurement.
• Lead and develop a high-performing multi-location team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Liaise with senior stakeholders to align operational finance activities with strategic objectives.
