Operations Manager - Financial Services

Be-Resourcing is pleased to partner with our client in the search for a permanent Operations Manager - Financial Services based in Glasgow. This pivotal leadership role involves overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of a forward-thinking lender dedicated to improving customers financial wellbeing.

As an integral part of the management team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous service improvement. You will lead a team to optimise workflow, manage risks, and develop policies that support a customer-centric, mobile-first approach. The successful candidate will also act as the on-site  manager, managing escalated member issues with professionalism and empathy, and supporting strategic projects to enhance operational delivery.

• Experience in operational leadership within consumer financial services, such as banking, retail lending, or mortgages
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and numerical reasoning skills
• Proven ability to lead projects and teams effectively, balancing competing priorities
• Passion for service excellence and team development, with a focus on delivering mobile-first solutions
• Ability to explain complex situations clearly and make balanced decisions in challenging circumstances
• Resilient, positive, and driven to challenge the status quo with innovative ideas
• IT literate with experience influencing system improvements and leveraging new technology
