Accountant - Part or Fully Qualified

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join my Edinburgh based client who are currently looking for an Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a great role for a full or part qualified professional with experience of working in the third sector and offers strong opportunities for progression and a great working environment. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Preparing accounts for a portfolio of clients
• Advising clients on financial and regulatory best practice
• Assisting clients with general financial housekeeping and VAT
• Working across a portfolio of clients and supporting other team members when needed
• Offering guidance and training to more junior members of staff

Relevant experience for this role includes;

• Minimum part qualified ACCA or ICAS
• Experience of accounting in the third sector (not for profit)
• Experience of preparing accounts for a variety of clients
• Strong client facing skills and professionalism
