Digital Transformation Consultant

We're hiring a Digital Transformation Consultant to join a highly regarded consultancy in Edinburgh where you'll work on complex, high-impact transformation programmes across a variety of organisations. You'll partner directly with senior stakeholders, influence strategic decisions, and see your ideas translate into tangible outcomes. If you enjoy variety, solving difficult problems and making a genuine difference through digital change, this could be the ideal next step. This exciting role is paying up to £70,000 plus benefits and operates on a hybrid basis. 

The Role

Working across discovery, strategy and delivery, you'll help clients navigate complex business challenges and turn ideas into successful digital solutions. No two projects are the same, giving you the opportunity to work across a diverse range of transformation programmes alongside a talented, multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading discovery activities, stakeholder workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
• Translating business and user needs into practical digital solutions.
• Producing discovery outputs, roadmaps, backlogs and business requirements.
• Supporting clients in defining digital transformation, data and AI strategies.
• Acting as a Product Owner on delivery projects, helping to prioritise scope and maximise value.
• Collaborating with designers, researchers, technical teams and project specialists in an agile environment to deliver successful outcomes.

About You

We're interested in speaking with individuals who have experience delivering digital transformation, change or technology programmes within the public sector or other complex environments.

You may have worked as a Consultant, Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, Service Designer, Delivery Lead or in another transformation-focused role. Equally, you may have built your career within a start-up, scale-up or fast-paced organisation where you've gained broad exposure across strategy, discovery, product development and delivery. We're more interested in the impact you've made than your job title.

You'll ideally be able to demonstrate experience of:

• Leading discovery phases that successfully progressed into delivery.
• Making recommendations that were adopted by clients and delivered measurable outcomes.
• Shaping digital roadmaps or transformation strategies that had a positive impact on an organisation.
• Owning products or services and making key prioritisation decisions that delivered value.
• Building credibility with senior stakeholders and navigating complex business challenges.
